Job Description

Supply Chain ManagerImport & Export - IngredientsBraintree, Essex - £45KThe CompanySince their humble beginnings decades ago this business has had exceptional double digit growth year on year. They import and distribute natural and organic ingredients for retail, food manufacturing and wholesale. As a business they are proud of their employeesand have staff that have been with them, growing their career for years! The Supply Chain Manager position will be looking after a well-established, friendly and confident team.The RoleAs a Supply Chain Manager, you will be reporting to the Supply Chain Director, and youll be managing 5 direct reports. This position is an on-site position and a business-critical role. Your duties will include (but not limited to);

  • Optimise service levels and stock turns for company SKUs by managing process of raising POs, their quality and time frames - monitor performance
  • Work closely with Production Planners, Purchasing, Retail & Ingredients and Finance teams
  • Continuously review the supply chain operation and identify improvements
  • Monitor & report on forecast accuracy, identify and investigate any issues
  • Work on traceability, audit reports and aging stock
Your Skills/ExperienceTo be considered for this position you will need excellent interpersonal and people management skills, youll also need;
  • Experience from Supply Chain/Manufacturing- ideally within food
  • Advanced IT Skills, you will need to be Advanced with Excel
  • Confident with ERP/ MRP systems (ideally SAP) and forecasting tools
  • Experience managing the end-to-end Supply Chain process
  • Strive to continuously improve and deliver on KPIs
