A lovely down to earth family of 4 are looking for a proactive and experienced housekeeper to join them on a live in basis, to help run their large 5 bedroom family home in North Essex.They are looking for someone who is passionate about their role as a housekeeper with a can do attitude and high attention to detail. You must be child and animal friendly as there are 2 small children and a small friendly dog!Your duties will include but not be limited to: All general day to day housekeeping: mopping, dusting, cleaning, polishing and tidying up etc. Correct care and cleaning of antique furniture and luxury fabrics and furnishings All laundry to include handwashing delicate items (in particular cashmere), ironing and organising wardrobes Taking care of household and grocery shopping both online orders and at shops Organising cupboards and pantry, keeping on top of sell by dates and stock Some simple cooking and food prep Some errand running requiredThe ideal candidate will: Have experience of working as a housekeeper within large country homes Capable of managing work and time schedule efficiently Have a switched on and organised nature Enjoy country living! The house is in a beautiful countryside locationThe family are rurally located so the housekeeper must be a driver with a clean licence. A car can be provided for work or the family will reimburse any work mileage if you use your own vehicle.This is a live in (or live out role). The accommodation on offer if live in is a newly refurbished 2 bedroom cottage in the grounds of the main house. Partners and pets welcome!Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours a weekStarting: ASAPLocation: Great Dunmow, North EssexSalary: £30,000 - £35,000 for the perfect candidates and depending on experience.
