Job Description

We are looking for aWarehouse Supervisorto join us as aZone ManagerinDespatchon a4 on 4 off daysshift pattern! AsWarehouse Supervisoryou will be responsible forthe daily running of the Despatch department, ensuring your team is suitably equipped to meet efficiency targets.

  • You will manage a team (of up to 8 people), ensuring consistency by monitoring and reviewing volumes and standards
  • You will be responsible ensuring daily requirements are suitably covered with correct labour
  • Responsibility for stock movements and shipping off site, reconciliation of produced product and pallet
  • Daily KPI ownership, managing absence and holiday requests will also sit within your remit
  • You will work with the larger Despatch and Operation teams to solve issues with root cause analysis

  • Previous experience within distribution or warehousing is essential
  • Excellent communication skillsable to speak with both internally and external stakeholders
  • A Reach Truck license is desirable but not essential
  • You will need to provide leadership and direction to your team, and strive to exceed targets
  • Ability to work at pace and with attention to detail
  • IOSH qualification would be advantageous
