Job Description

Accounts Administrator Location: Almondsbury, Aztec West, BristolPosition: Full timeSalary: £24,000 - £30,000 DOEOur Client:We are delighted to be working with this successful local business. They are currently experiencing extensive growth and have further plans to grow. They have a great reputation in the local area and throughout their market.Due to their reputation and success and winning new contracts they have a great, new opportunity for an Accounts Administrator to join the business.The opportunity:This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for a very varied and busy role, that play a crucial and fundamental role supporting a number of stakeholders within the business.The business is fast-paced and as such requires someone who thrives in such an environment, managing many different tasks at any one time. A reactive environment, this role also requires someone to think on their feet and be able to respond to changingrequests and timescales.Our client offers an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to diversify and progress their career as the company grows.This role is currently based from our clients Chepstow office but there will be an expectation that the successful candidate will be flexible to travel to other sites, Avonmouth when required. Please note that our client does have plans to potentiallymove offices out of Chepstow within the next year, so please only apply if you are flexible to commute out of Chepstow.Responsibilities of Accounts Administrator:

  • Run all month end bank reconciliations
  • Issue invoices and chase customer debtors
  • Perform weekly sales invoice and sales checks
  • Upload bank statements and supplier invoices to Sage
  • Match all bank accounts to Sage balances
The ideal candidate:
  • Must be familiar with Sage 50
  • Able to work in a team or on own initiative
  • Polite telephone manner
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Experience in banking, invoicing, credit control and purchase ledger
