Job Description

Warehouse ManagerPermanentMon- Friday£30,000- £35,000 DOEWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join a small but established company to run their 13,000 square ft warehouse in Bradford.This would suit an experienced Warehouse Manager looking for their next role or a Warehouse Supervisor with experience with people management who is looking to progress their career.As Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Looking after a small team of 5 direct reports including coaching and regular 1:1 to promote staff development.
  • Staff management including: holiday authorisation, absence monitoring and overtime approvals.
  • Managing the warehouse budget, reviewing supplier costs to ensure cost effective solutions and a premium service.
  • Prompt dispatch of all orders adhering to the company 48 hour turnaround time.
  • Supervising Goods In and Good Out.
  • Ensuring your team meet all KPIs, improving process and pick speeds where applicable.
  • Managing the stock system internally and externally, limiting the need for external warehousing via bulk space management for peak seasons.
  • Maintaining all site documentation including Health and Safety and site facilities.
  • Key holder responsibilities for the site open/close.
This role requires a confident communicator. As Warehouse Manager you will need to develop strong internal relationships with the Sales Office and external couriers to maximise efficiency. You will use your people skills to bring the best out of your teamand lead from the front with a hands on approach to the job.
