Job Description

Title: UX DesignerLocation: Bradford- HybridSalary: £35,000 - £42,000Industry: RetailBrief Overview:Forsyth Barnes are excited to be partnered with a fast growing company who are looking for UX Designer to play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of there customer-facing websitesWorking with the UX team to develop the UX strategy, identify & address potential pain points and guarantee that every aspect of the product user experience is guided by a user-centric approach.Job Responsibilities

  • Working closely with product owners, researchers, visual designers and developers to improve or introduce compelling journeys and features
  • Translating customer insights into designed experiences and forming a compelling story around them
  • Working with Agile project teams and key stakeholders to develop and own the delivery of user centred solutions within project timeframes and objectives
  • Commissioning and participating in user research and testing activities, and drawing the insight needed to make informed and user centred design decisions
  • Working closely with project stakeholders to help understand and define customer value
JOB Requirements:
  • Minimum of three years of directly related experience (UX designer or similar
  • A degree in design, human-computer interaction, cognitive science, human factors or related UX field
  • Significant expertise in reviewing existing systems and processes to identify UX issues and develop UX recommendations
  • Familiarity with UX trends, methodologies
  • Strong skills in UX tools such as XD, Photoshop and After Effects
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies and frameworks (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
