Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join one of our clients, a successful business based in Bradford, who require someone to join them to support during a busy period.They are looking for someone who has strong, all-round finance experience who has gained exposure to the month end process to allow them to hit the ground running but also someone who doesnt mind supporting on the transactional side - particularly with salesledger.The finance team consists of 3 people and this role will report directly into the Financial Controller. The successful candidate will be responsible for:--Supporting in the preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts.-Producing accruals, prepayments and journals.-Assisting with cashflow forecasting.-Managing cash allocation.-Preparing and balancing of weekly and monthly bank reconciliations.-Producing and distributing daily banking figures.-Reconciling bank statements and identifying and logging fixed assets.-Amending invoices and creating credit notes.-Assisting with nominal ledger including processing journals and month-end adjustments.-Performing balance sheet reconciliations and VAT returns.-Assisting with more transactional processing duties as and when required.For further details please contact Chloe Wilford.To apply please send your CV, quoting our reference and specifying which website you saw this position advertised on.
