Elevation Engineering and Manufacturing are pleased to share an outstanding opportunity for a Technical Officer/Engineer (Similarly Process Engineers, Product Development Engineers, Technical Managers etc.) to join a global manufacturing business in West Yorkshire.Reporting into the site Technical Manager, you will be responsible for a combination of process development, quality, product applications and technical due diligence.The Technical officers duties and responsibilities will include:- Ensuring all products meet regulatory compliance- Maintain ISO9001:2015 Quality system and assist in the implementation of ISO14001 Environmental Management Systems- Stay abreast of new and emerging materials, testing techniques and production technologies- Provide technical expertise across the site utilising various reports and data to present to the wider team when required- Provide technical knowledge of product chemistry and polymerisation techniques We are very keen to speak to you if you have the following skills and experience:- A degree in a relevant engineering field, ideally chemistry, polymers or materials (desirable)- Understanding and experience of ISO9001 and 1400, including implementation.- A good understanding of product applications is desirable (e.g., textiles, composites, papermaking etc).- A detailed understand of technical due diligence and compliance matters, how these are addressed and the implications for product design is required.- Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholdersElevation Engineering & Manufacturing is a specialist recruitment consultancy dealing with engineering, technical and operational positions in Yorkshire and the surrounding regions.
