This will include working with the Technical Managers to ensure that a suitable strategy, processes, procedures and systems are in place to manage documents effectively in both electronic and hard copy format for contract documents requiring to be retained as original copy.This role is a key role in Technical and Commercial workflows and an integral part of the overall Development team, and takes full ownership of the management and control of documents in the pre contract Development programme.Controlling the referencing, storing and retrieval of both electronic and hard copy documents for the following categories of documents-Document relating to Anchor Hanover Development standardsStandards for specification, products or framework agreements set by Anchor Hanover Property TeamProject specific specifications, drawings and documents across the pre-contract stages of the projectWorking with Anchor Hanover procurement team to manage the issue of tender information via procurement portal and the storage of tender and contract documentsAbout you:You will have proven experience as a Document Controller or similar role within the construction sector with knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS)You will have:

  • Proven track record of stakeholder engagement and management
  • Understanding of construction documentation
  • Well-developed IT skills and knowledge of relevant software packages
  • Able to identify, manage and mitigate relevant risks pertinent to the job role
  • Understanding and experience of the process for creation of construction design and procurement documentation, the key risks to control in the management of documentation and how to mitigate these risks
  • Conversant with current Health and Safety/CDM legislation
  • Experience of construction pre contract processes and understanding the role good control and management of documentation plays in delivering a clear tender for contractors.
