Fantastic opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business in the Bradford area. After a sustained period of growth, the business requires an experienced Inventory/Stock Controller to join the team. While reporting directly into the site manager your main duties will include Stock management, Stock forecasting and Stock tracking to assist the businesses operations. Duties will include but are not limited to:*Ensuring correct stock levels to enable appropriate activity.*Liaising with warehousing/transport colleagues to ensure stock is taken to pick points and then stock is put away in correct date rotation.*Communicating with planning, reporting any discrepancies with delivery or any damages to stock.*Liaising with technical teams, regarding any quality issues with stock.*Contacting suppliers regarding correct delivery paperwork.*Ensuring target of stock availability is maintained.*Controlling stock levels to reduce waste.Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below experience:*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.*Good literacy and numerical skills, attention to detail is key.*Somebody with the confidence to communicate with a wide range of internal colleagues.*Experience of working within a Manufacturing/Retail environment is desirable.*Good problem-solving skills and IT literacy.*Strong Excel skills.Sharp Consultancy is a finance and accountancy recruitment specialist assisting accounting and finance divisions of businesses in the Yorkshire and Derbyshire area.
