Job Description

Sheet Metal Worker/ TIG Welder / Press Brake OperatorBradford areaUp to £11.75ph dependent on experiencePermanent / temp to permImmediate startExperienced Sheet Metal Worker/ TIG Welder / Press Brake Operator required for a well-established local employer to carry out the manufacture of all types of fabrications & metalwork. Working on interesting projects for a small engineering company.As the Sheet Metal Worker/ TIG Welder / Press Brake Operator will be responsible for:

  • Reading, interpreting and working to engineering drawings
  • Working with mainly thin gauge material
  • Operating a press brake
  • TIG welding and fusing 1.2 mm thick 304 stainless steel
  • Rolling 2-3mm thick stainless steel for hoppers around 370 mm in dia and again welding together all TIG welding process
  • Basic mechanical assembly
    • As the Sheet Metal Worker/ TIG Welder / Press Brake Operator you will be:A highly experienced Sheet Metal worker familiar with working in a range of materials and thicknesses to produce complex fabricationsAble to demonstrate a sound understanding of TIG weldingAbility to operate a PressbrakeHave the ability to communicate effectively and complete all assigned tasks to strict standards and specificationsAble to work on own initiative as well as part of a teamIdeally hold a relevant welding / fabrication apprenticeship / qualificationsHave previous experience in producing high quality bespoke fabricationsAll Yasemin at Travail onTravail Employment Group Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
