They are champions of theLifetime Homes Standard and provide expert training and consultancy through their Centre for Accessible Environments (CAE) in-house team.About the RoleThe Senior Repairs Surveyor role will be responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of maintenance in the Northern region. You will have two repairs inspectors reporting to you each covering different areas in the North East, and Yorkshire & NorthWest. Your role will be to ensure that they are providing a good service in all aspects of responsive, cyclical, and major repairs to tenanted and void properties. You will also be managing maintenance contractors in line with their contract management frameworkincluding any performance improvement areas. The role will also be responsible for ensuring that they comply with accessibility standards, monitor budgets, whilst never compromising on H&S regulations.About YouThey are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Repairs Surveyor to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth delivery of their repairs and maintenance service, contributing to the overallwellbeing of their tenants. You will be up to date with current building and H&S legislations, as well as a sound understanding in procurement routes in Housing.The ideal candidate will possess a HNC in construction or building, able to draft tender documents and you will have an advantage if you are able to prepare basic construction drawings and specifications.Excellent customer care and communication skills are essential for this role. You will need to be calm in your nature and confident in your practices. There will be travel involved and the occasional emergency call out so a clean driving license is essentialas well as a clear enhanced DBS.Benefits:
