Job Description

CRP Group are currently working with a large automotive organisation, looking to recruit 10Fitters on a permanent basis. The main purpose of the role will be to work as part of a team installing and sealing new windows, floors, and cabinets as well as fitting other aspects of vehicle interiors/ exteriors.THE ROLE:

  • All areas of exterior and interior trim, standard and additional elements as part of the conversion - such as fitting vehicle flooring, seats, tracking, vents and window fitting.
  • Working with all types of trim material, mild steel, s/steel, aluminium, fiberglass, composite, plywood, ABS, general plastics, vinyl and carpet
  • Use of a variety of consumable materials, polyester filler, sealants, panel wipe, glues, aerosol paints and primers
  • Sealing windows, Floors, and cabinets into vehicles.
  • Working as part of a team to complete jobs in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring windows, floor and cabinets are sealed correctly.
  • Utilising a range of hand and power tools
  • Working in line with Company standards and H&S requirements
  • Potentially using seal guns on a daily basis.
THE CANDIDATE:
  • Must be a team player and be able to work on own initiative.
  • Previous experience in joinery, fitting, flooring or as a labourer would be an advantage as well as being able to work as a team and on your own initiative and with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience using hand or power tools is preferred.
THE SALARY AND BENEFITS:
  • £25,000pa - £26,500pa
  • Permanent role
  • Monday to Thursday: 06:30 - 16:30
  • Overtime available (Friday paid at time and a half. Saturday Double time)
