Job Description

English Teacher

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Location: Bradford
  • Salary: £150~200 per day
We are seeking an outstanding and talented English Teacher to join one of our schools after Easter 2024, or before if possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a growing and successful subject team that is committed to helping students achievetheir potential across KS3, KS4, and KS5. Day to Day of the role:
  • Deliver high-quality lessons to students across all age and ability ranges, fostering a love for English and Literacy.
  • Raise achievement and promote outstanding progress by employing a variety of teaching methods tailored to students’ needs and abilities.
  • Contribute to the development of the curriculum and teaching resources within the English department.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on the progress of students, providing feedback that supports their learning and development.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, professional development opportunities, and school-wide initiatives to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in English.
  • Demonstrable passion for English and Literacy, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Proven track record of excellent classroom practice and student progress.
  • Strong subject knowledge across all key stages, with the ability to teach effectively to a diverse range of students.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to share best practices with colleagues.
