Job Description

Sales Office Manager / Bradford / Salary £28,000 - £30,000 - OTE £50,000 / Free Parking + Excellent Benefits, Career Development /PermanentNC Associates are working with a market leading manufacturing company based in Bradford to assist in recruiting an experienced Sales Office Manager to develop and grow their established sales team. This role will report to the CEO and Sales Director andwill provide you with the opportunity to showcase your motivation skills whilst developing and adding to your team through continued proven results. In return for this you will receive a competitive basic salary with the opportunity to earn fantastic bonuseswith an OTE of £50,000.The responsibilities of the Sales Office Manager will include, but are not limited to:

  • Train, mentor and develop the existing sales team working with their strengths and weaknesses and enhancing productivity and profitability.
  • Demonstrate proven sales skills and training methods.
  • Provide inductions, additional training and support within the sales and service team.
  • Handle your own small client base of key accounts.
  • Receiving inbound sales enquiries, providing accurate and competitive quotesleading by example.
  • Deliver product training to provide team members with the best understanding of the company products and services allowing them to quote more efficiently and understand customer needs.
  • Building lasting relationships and identifying additional sales opportunities.
  • Process sales orders and monitor / work with team members.
  • Working closely with all other areas of the business to ensure a smooth and streamlined service.
  • Generate sales leads and business in the same manner expected of the team.
  • Manage escalated complaints and claims.
  • Demonstrate Create and add value to business / budget plans.
  • Reporting and delivering sales figures to stakeholders.
  • Attend business and budget meetings.
  • Conduct regular 1-2-1s and annual development reviews.
  • Manage discipline and grievance issues.
  • Manage staffing, holidays and other internal function queries.
  • Professional management of the sales, after-sales and service team.
  • Develop improved processes and procedures within the department and deliver these and updates to the team.
  • Recruiting and on-boarding new team members.
  • Attending Sales Events as a Brand Ambassador for the business.
Requirements of the Sales Executive:
  • The ideal candidate will have proven background within telephone-based sales office management.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Proven background of motivating and developing a team.
  • Proven managerial skills.
  • Have the ability to increase growth and profitability through proven training and mentoring.
  • Demonstrate a proactive attitude and proven abilities to work to meet and exceed targets.
