Job Description

The People of: are working with a thriving pureplay online retailer to recruit an electricals buyer. This is a kind of online department store with HQ based in West Yorkshire. Targets are smashed for 2020 and thus adding this new position (among others) to the team.This opportunity requires a buyer of electrical and technology products. Think Fitbit’s, electric bikes, TV’s, computers and everything else. What’s exciting about this role is that the range keeps progressing and this business moves quick so you’ll constantly be trialling and buying new ranges. You’ll also progress your own career as the categories P&L grow.We require someone with 2-5 years buying experience. An assistant buyer or junior buyer wanting to take the step up and really own what they do or perhaps a buyer looking for a change whether that be a relocation, change of company or change of culture. Ideally you’ll have a good overview of the electricals & technology categories with solid buying experience - sourcing, category management, negotiating, P&L accountability.Please apply for this role if this sounds like a role you can do and also would like to do.
