Job Description

Residential Support Worker Vacancy waiting to be filledVenn Group have been approached by a support organisation and would like to introduce the following position availablePosition: Residential Support Worker (Ex-Offenders)Location: BradfordRate: £26,000 per annum Length: Permanent Hours: 40 Hours per week over 4 days, 1 in 3 weekends The role will predominantly involve:

  • Providing Housing Related Support and recovery support to residents
  • Supporting ex-offenders in group on 1 to 1 keywork sessions
  • Assisting clients with Tenancy management, budgeting, universal credit
  • Advocating for residents where appropriate, helping residents arrange and attend scheduled appointments and on their structured day programme, GP, Probation, and other alcohol and substance misuse services
  • Encouraging and supporting residents to live as fully and independently as possible within the local community, providing information, emotional, organisational, practical support
