Job Description

Our client undertakes a variety of work from simple subcontract machining through to original design and reverse engineering of heavy engineering products. They are looking to appoint a Quality Engineer to their team in Bradford.The individual will instigate and lead quality activities across the business working alongside the Operations Manager to ensure that processes and products meet with customer requirements. Liaise with other departments to resolve processing issues and helpdrive continuous improvement throughout the business. Inspection/Quality Engineer/Root cause analysis/8D/5why/final inspection/ISO9001Role Responsibilities:- Develop and implement methods for inspecting and evaluating the reliability and accuracy of products, processes, and production systems.- Implement the relevant Quality Tools for the analysis of defects in both materials and products, recommending corrective measures to maintain quality standards on site.- Maintain and continually strive to improve the quality of the products.- Work on corrective and preventative actions, including process and product design improvements for procedural, product inefficiencies through the analysis of data.- Help to drive quality programs of product and process improvement, by implementing lean tools and techniques.- Inspection of products in line with company and customer requirements.- Plan and manage internal audits of manufacturing processes and working practices, to ensure compliance and the resolution of any non-conformances.You:- Experience in a similar position within an engineering environment- Computer literate- Able to use problem solving tools- Relevant mechanical engineering qualificationInspection/Quality Engineer/Root cause analysis/8D/5why/final inspection/ISO9001In return the company offers varied and interesting work, job security and opportunities for advancement.If this appeals to you please Apply Now!
