Job Description

I am delighted to be recruiting an exciting new QHSE Manager position for a well-established, growing manufacturing business in Bradford. The business is looking for a QHSE Manager to drive the Quality and HSE department and mould and develop a high-performing,dynamic QHSE team.Client DetailsMy client is a well-established manufacturing business with an extremely well-renowned reputation for high manufacturing quality and customer service. They are a reputable provider of industrial sealing solutions to the aerospace, oil/gas and heavy industrialmarkets.They are looking for an experienced QHSE Manager to join their world leading team in Bradford, assisting with the development of the function. This person needs to be well versed in specialist quality management compliance standards, including AS9100 (aerospace)and API Q1 (oil and gas).DescriptionAs QHSE Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the businesses quality management system and streamlining the current QMS to ensure stability.
  • QMS including ISO 9001, API Q1, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, AS9100 and ISO 45001.
  • Ensuring legal compliance with HSE regulations and standards.
  • Liaising with external bodies and regulatory authorities around audits and being the lead auditor at the business.
  • Liaising with customers around any quality related matters.
  • Analysing any non-conformances, accidents, incidents and areas of improvement.
  • Developing a lean mindset when it comes to quality, establishing this across the team.
  • Managing and coaching a high-performing quality team.
ProfileThe successful candidate must be:
  • Well versed in all forms of ISO standards and accreditations, and have implemented ISO 45001.
  • An experienced, credible and proven QHSE leader with a track-record of success.
  • An experienced manager of QHSE functions with up to 3-5 years management experience.
  • A team player and able to liaise effectively with key stakeholders across the business.
  • Customer-centric in approach and be able to listen and act upon customer recommendations.
  • Qualified within Health and Safety (IOSH Essential, NEBOSH Desirable).
  • Experienced within specific quality regulations is desirable e.g. AS 9100 and API Q1.
Job OfferOn offer for the QHSE Manager is:
  • £50-£55k basic annual salary dependent on experience.
