Job Description

JOB TITLE: Purchasing AdministratorSALARY: £21,500LOCATION: Bradford, BD1BENEFITS: Company Bonus Scheme, 25 days holiday, Pension Scheme.The company:Office Angels are working with an established and fast-growing manufacturing organisation. You will be working in a modern office based in BD1 and work with a friendly and supportive team! The business is growing successfully and has a proven record of developingemployees with training and providing opportunities for advancement where possible.Overview of the role: You will be an Administrator for the Purchasing team. You will report to the Divisional Manager. This role would suit an individual who is keen to make an impact in terms of developing processes and systems to facilitategrowth and effectiveness. The role involves all aspects of the Purchase Administration process and dealing with Spares customers and suppliers.Due to the company growth this role will likely evolve to include additional responsibilities over time.Duties will include:

  • Process purchase orders and send to suppliers using Sage Accounts System
  • Maintaining supplier records and chasing overdue orders.
  • Point of contact for customers with queries
  • Help meet the Teams targets
  • Follow up purchase orders to ensure they have been received and are going to be delivered on time
  • Check supplier acknowledgements and amend prices accordingly
  • Other general Office Admin duties - Holiday cover, advising price and availability of stock items, Participating in annual stock take.

  • Excellent Customer Service skills/ Dealt with a high volume of enquiries on the phone
  • Extremely organised with high level of Attention to Detail
  • Enjoy working within a fast-paced environment and fast learner
  • Experience as an Administrator or Qualification (e.g. NVQ or other relevant certification)
  • MS Office suite, Excel and Outlook experience
  • Experience with Sage (Or similar financial software)
