Role- Production / Process TechnicianLocation - BradfordContract - PermanentSalary - £22700 Plus 5% Company Performance Bonus plus other benefitsWorking hours - 14.00 - 22.00 Monday to FridayManpower is currently looking for candidate to join our busy client based in BradfordRole is primarily responsible for the precision irradiation processing of Customer products as per the defined Customer specification. Although the Customer will provide a specification and the facility will have Work Instructions to follow, the role willrequire a level of independent thinking based on the individuals knowledge of radiation processing in order to establish optimum processing parameters for each product. Full training will be providedResponsibilities (Primary activities with expected %time allocation shown)Operations (90%)

• Receiving; Performs the receipt of new product on site ensuring it matches the details of the Customer submission and all relevant information/documentation has been provided.
• Assessment; Performs the assessment of a product configuration for radiation processing and re-configure where appropriate in order to optimize.
• Dosimeter Placement; Performs the placement of dosimeters on the final product configuration ensuring the correct and appropriate locations are capture.
• Scheduling; Performs the scheduling of product within the irradiator considering the Customer specification, the product configuration, the available capacity, other scheduled products and the working hours of the facility.
• Loading/Unloading; Operates the irradiator and performs the loading and/or unloading of product from the cell.
• Dosimeter Reading; Operates the spectrophotometer and utilizes such for the reading of dosimeters post-irradiation. Completes dosimetry reports and performs periodic dosimetry checks.
• Data Analysis; Performs analysis of dose results and makes decisions on subsequent processing parameters.
• Report Writing (if applicable); Assists in the creation of protocols/reports.
• Shipping; Performs the preparation of finished product for shipping by preparing any necessary documentation, product re-configuration/verification, and security of shipper.

Maintenance (if applicable 5%)

• Maintaining & cleaning of the irradiator, irradiator control console and all associated mechanical systems.

Projects (if applicable 5%)

• Support the RTC manager and/or the wider company Team with internal projects.

• Contributes in a team effort by performing according to the guidelines outlined in the Client Code of Business Conduct, the QSR and other directives; supports the directives and decisions of higher-level management and accomplishes other duties as assigned.
