Job Description

Financial Services Operations Manager Hybrid working Multisite coverage (Bradford and Sheffield)Our client based in Bradford who are a well-known online retailer are recruiting for an experienced Financial Services Operations Manager to lead their financial team.Role Responsibilities -

  • Coach all team members to ensure the highest standard of Customer Service is provided.
  • Have strong knowledge of all FCA and CONC regulations to comply with fair treating standards.
  • Develop and improve Customer Satisfaction to reduce debt losses and complaints.
  • Manage and set individual targets.
  • Monitor the quality of both the internal and external teams performance to provide a consistent service.
  • Work alongside the Financial Services department to achieve synergies and operational efficiencies.
  • Manage 3rd party relationships to maximise performance and maintain service level agreements.
  • Investigate the root cause of and propose a plan to prevent customer escalations.
  • Comply with and demonstrate company policies.
  • Provide insight and analysis relating to complaints handling and collections to senior management when required.
  • Take responsibility for your Health and Safety as well as of your teams.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable UK and local regulations, Company Policies and FCA Conduct Rules.
The Ideal Candidate -
  • Understanding of FCA regulatory requirements including DISP and FOS.
  • Experience of managing a team.
  • Experience dealing with and managing complaints.
  • In depth knowledge and practical experience of Complaints and Collections within the UK consumer credit industry.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Word and Excel, Financier & Charter (Desirable)
  • Stakeholder and supplier management experience.
