Job Description

Our client is a world leading organisation with sites across the UK. They are looking to recruit an experienced Occupational Health Nurse for a period of at least 12 months - then to be reviewed. You will alongside the Safety Manager and a 3rd partycontracted Physician once a week.Benefits:

As an Occupational Health Nurse, your duties will include:
  • Completing occupational health medicals for new starters and company leavers
  • Health surveillance
  • Dealing with safety critical, night worker and lone worker assessments
  • Completing audio and spiro tests
  • Case management (self and manager referrals)
  • Substance misuse
  • Workplace assessments including DSE
Experience required:
  • You will be a Registered Nurse with Occupational Health qualifications such as SCPHN
  • You will need to ensure the 3-year refresher training for audio and spiro is in date, along with the relevant qualifications
  • Experience of COHORT (OH software) is desirable but not essential
  • Experience of working with Keystone equipment would be desirable
  • The role will have planned weeks and could involve driving to Grimsby; therefore, a driving license and car is essential for this role
  • You will need emotional intelligence, a flexible and approachable demeanour with an understanding of the business element of the role and working for a business organisation with regards to timescales
