Job Description

Network Services Lead - Security, Team LeadershipA network focused team lead position has arisen at one of Yorkshires leading financial institutions.My client is seeking someone to lead and develop a team that provides design, delivery and operational support services to the business for voice and data network platforms.You will have previous expeirnece leading a skilled team in this area, with a focus on the security aspects pf network provision. This is a highly technical position as you will act as the escalation point for the whole network services team. You will also manage external supplier relationships and have a good understanding of outsourcing methodologies.This is an exciting opportunity to join a Yorkshire brand as they seek to develop their IT capabilities in order to grow their business.As an experienced Network Services Lead you wil have the following: -

  • Proven track record in the effective leadership of a team of highly skilled Network, Security and Telephony specialists
  • Demonstrable technical leadership and direction to drive business outcomes and develop wider Network Engineering capability
  • Ability to clearly articulate complex technical subjects and present solutions to senior level management
  • Understanding of outsourcing methodologies and operating models and expertise in managing complex contracts and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Excellent working knowledge of network, security and telephony technologies such as:
  • F5 load balancing and Application Delivery Controllers
  • Checkpoint and Cisco firewalls
  • Site to site VPNs
  • Remote access services
  • Forecepoint proxy Servers
