Metal Fabrication ManagerPerm role, £40k-£50k pa DOEBRADFORDI am recruiting for an exciting role at a busy and growing Manufacturing and Engineering company based in Bradford. I am looking for a Head of Metal Fabrication/Fabrication Manager who is looking for an exciting new role at an Innovative company.You will be highly motivated and proactive in your approach to ensure that all products and projects are effectively manufactured and delivered to a high standard and completed on time. In this role, flexibility is key, in regard to working hours and days,including the ability to work in the workshop and out on sites located both in the UK and abroad.Otherkey skills you will need include:-Must be Hands On and happy to work on the tools when needed-Must have Sheet Metal experience and be able to MIG and TIG Weld to a high standard-Hold a Passport and a Full Driving License-Good communication skills and the ability to talk to staff and customers alike-Knowledge and experience of working to quality standards including ISO 9001 and BS EN 1090-Health and Safety in the workplace-Maintaining a co-operative, motivated and successful teamDay to day tasks will include:-Day to day management of your team and resources, organising work with the Production team-Attend and partake in regular meetings as required.-Organise and schedule the team around production needs ie drawing, machining, assembly etc-Understand and monitor what your project team leaders are working on.-Ensure work is completed and signed off as agreed and meets specification and relevant standards-Act as a reporting point to your team with regards plant, repairs and servicing needed etc.-To feedback on resources required to undertake work through development-Continued professional development and training of your team-Ensure all Health and Safety policies and procedures are in place and adhered to-Identify areas of improvement and development-To work on the development and implementation of Production and Factory procedures and policies in relation to both Health and Safety and Quality standards-Ensure all Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) are filtered down the project chain and adhered to-Record and manage any Project issues and escalating these where necessary-Ensuring the workplace is kept clean and tidy at all timesIf you are interested in this role, please either apply within, send your CV to or call and ask to speak to Tom.
