Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group have the pleasure of working with an FMCG business based in the Bradford area, who is looking for Mechanical Maintenance Engineers to join their well established team with immediate effect!Salary: £46,870Location: BradfordHours: 4 on 4 off days and nights- or option for 4 on 4 off days with holiday cover for nightsA few of the many benefits:

Duties of a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:
  • Being proactive within the job focussing on preventative maintenance as well as reactive maintenance of the infrastructure and Mechanical Control Systems.
  • Attending to breakdowns daily
  • Planned preventative maintenance will be a daily task as one of the core values of the company
  • Working within a team environment so must be a team player, but also work from own initiative when needed
  • Ensure always adhering to health and safety procedures.
  • Working on baggers, fryers, pumps, conveyors, weighers, robots, and palletisers
Desired experience:
  • You must have at least Level 3 or above in Mechanical Engineering (City and Guilds – Apprentice trained)
  • It would be advantageous for you to have HNC and HND qualifications but not essential
  • Ideally have 3 years experience in a mechanical maintenance engineer position recently
  • Must be happy working shift pattern
  • Ideally have experience working in an FMCG/ fast paced environment previously
  • Must have worked within a manufacturing maintenance background previously
  • Fault finding on PLC’s
  • Must have some electrical maintenance also
  • Must have a good work ethic, this company are looking for people who live to achieve
