They excel at providing fully automated sortation and distribution centres for a wide variety of industries, employing 210 staff across a number of UK sites which has gone from 2 sites to 10 sites in about 10 years, the business continues to expand thanks to a buoyant market.With a massive engineering function this means they have immense opportunity to progress both onsite and internally worldwide if this is something that interests you please apply now!The RoleAs a Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for both Planned Preventative Maintenance Tasks and reacting to Breakdowns as they arise. With product volumes in the hundreds of thousands, speed is king and the Maintenance Engineer must react quickly to ensure the lines are up and running as soon as humanly possible.Electrically the Maintenance Engineer will be fault finding with a multimeter through to component level, then replacing any faulty component. The site houses several miles of conveyor systems; thus a lot of the breakdowns will be mechanical in nature.
