The Administration Assistant will provide an efficient, effective and high quality administrative support to District Nursing and community matron teams in a CommunityGeneral responsibilities of an administrator 1. Using e-technologies to improve ways of working within the team.2. Participating in the maintenance of effective office systems, identifying improvements to improve individual, team and service performance.3. With direction and instruction to collect information required for statistical analysis and to collate information for forwarding to the relevant team. To record and input onto the computer any relevant data as directed.4. Actively involved in maintaining data quality at all time, ensuring accurate information is recorded on the Patient Administration System5. Assisting in maintaining adequate supplies of stock items within the Teams.6. Ensuring the work area is appropriate and fit for purpose7. Following Trust and departmental policies and procedures for the work area including HR policies, operating procedures and financial policies8. Contributing to the management of service risks and governance.9. Support project work within the function as identified by the management Team10. Undertaking duties in line with role banding and level of competence and act as an ambassador for administration services displaying exemplary role model behaviours4. Working as part of a Team Work flexibly within core working hours to ensure the service is appropriately covered and supported.Respond flexibly in order to meet the changing demands of the serviceParticipate in team meetings and contribute to the building of effective teamworkPromote communication and effective working practices with all staffWork as part of the support service to the nominated District Nurse TeamsShare information, skills and experiences with colleaguesListen and be open to views of othersActively work to develop and maintain positive relationships within the Trust and externallySupport the District Nurse Team Leader with the day to day running of thePlease note - this role requires the usage of your own vehicle due to the position being based across to sites.Due to the large volume of applications we receive it is only possible to respond to short listed candidates.
