Job Description

Year 6 Teacher

  • Job Type: Part-time (2 days a week)
  • Location: Bradford
  • Duration: February 2024 - July 2024
We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join a primary school in Bradford. This part-time role is perfect for an individual who is passionate about making a significant impact on the lives of young students and wishesto be part of a committed teaching team. Day to Day of the role:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons to Year 6 pupils, ensuring high levels of student engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Implement SATS boosters and interventions to support pupils in their preparation for assessments.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and support to both students and their parents or guardians.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Adhere to school policies and curriculum guidelines, ensuring a consistent and high-quality educational experience.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment for all students.
  • Participate in school-wide events and meetings as required, contributing to the broader school community.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a KS2 classroom.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Primary Education.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
  • A strong passion for teaching and a commitment to the education and wellbeing of young children.
