Job Description

Continuing its recent success and growth the UK’s Number 1 distributor of leading brand appliances, one of the 1000 companies to Inspire Britain is recruiting an Internal Sales Executive. Boasting a turnover of over £25 million, ambitious growth plans, with an aim to double turnover of the business in 5 years.As the Internal Sales Executive you will be;

  • Actively seeking new business opportunities
  • Researching potential clients and sectors for the business to promote there products and services into
  • Maximise sales opportunities with existing clients and building relationships to reignite lapsed/dormant accounts
  • Effectively manage your diary to ensure regular touch points with prospective and new and existing accounts
  • Resolve any customer queries
  • Learn and keep up to date on all product ranges
  • Be aware of and report on competitor activity, products, pricing, display, catalogues and so forth
  • Represent the company at Trade shows and other events
  • To be successful in this internal sales position, the ideal person will have commercial sales experience, you will be;
  • A driven person with a hunger to succeed and win new business
  • Motivated to keep up to date with your competitors and your own internal products to ensure you never miss a sales opportunity
  • Self motivated and someone who can manage your time effectively
  • You will have a 5 star service mentality ensuring your customers receive excellent service from their first communication with you from day 1 and throughout their account
  • You will have a strong desire to boost the current customer base ans surpass current volumes in sales
  • Experience in dealing with accounts via telephone, email and in person would be advantageous (this is an office based role)
  • As a business their team as well as their customers are the most important thing to them, during these uncertain times the business not only supported its teams but made generous donations to charities and have continued to grow in the last few months.With a wide product range you will receive training and support from day 1 and your initial 3 months will mostly entail lead generation and prospecting as your product knowledge increases your role will then transition to develop and account manage as well as continue to extend new business. In return your hard work and commitment you can expect a basic salary of £20,000- £23,000 per annum with a realistic OTE of approx. £35,000 and much more, genuine opportunities for career development within a highly reputable and growing business that is increasing its market share considerably
