Job Description

HR Manager

  • Salary: £40k - £50k DOE
  • Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire
  • Job Type: Full-time, Fixed Term Contract (12-14 months covering maternity leave)
Reed HR are working exclusively with a leading manufacturing company based in Bradford who areseeking an experienced Interim HR Manager to lead their human resource function, ensuring the delivery of a comprehensive HR service to the UK and Ireland businesses.This role requires overseeing HR matters across 4 sites, with travel and occasional homeworking. The successful candidate will work closely with the senior leadership team to support business growth and drive employee development, engagement, and motivation.Day to day of the role:
  • Lead the HR function, ensuring all practices adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team to support business objectives and workforce expansion.
  • Provide advice and support to local site HR representatives and line management on ER matters, ensuring correct application of HR policies and legislation.
  • Implement talent management strategies to attract, retain, and develop talent.
  • Oversee the recruitment process from job postings to onboarding.
  • Drive performance management processes and coach managers.
  • Oversee the delivery of learning and development activities.
  • Provide coaching and advice on people issues and policies.
  • Lead diversity and inclusion initiatives, fostering an equitable work environment.
  • Facilitate the implementation of new HR initiatives and HR software within the business.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or above.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment law.
  • Experience leading restructuring processes and implementing TUPE legislation.
  • Strong Employee Relations experience.
  • Experience implementing HR software is advantageous.
  • Experience with Investors in People accreditation pathway is advantageous.
  • Proven ability in change management and strategy facilitation.
