A well respected and highly successful business in Bradford seeks an experienced Financial Accountant to help cover a period of maternity leave. Initially, this role would run for 6 months but could lead to a longer-term opportunity.The main purpose is to join their growing finance team and lead on the internal and external reporting process. You will provide key MI to decision makers and be the key audit contact. You will also help to develop the business by participating in a varietyof group projects.Key Responsibilities will include:*Leading month end reporting to the business, including developing the P&L reporting to ensure it reflects commercial needs, providing support to product owners through the provision and interpretation of MI.*Responsible for statutory reporting and Group consolidation.*Responsible for leading the audit.*Acting as a business partner to the wider business to provide financial support to key products and projects, providing support and commercial guidance.*Assisting in quarterly reforecasting through partnering local departments.To be considered you must be a formally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with proven experience in a similar role. You will need strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial information in a clear manner to the wider business.
