Job Description

Page Personnel are partnering with a national manufacturing organisation who are seeking a HR Officer to join their HR function on a 14 month FTC basis. This is a full generalist position with support provided across the entire lifecycle from E.R case management, recruitment campaigns and various project work. The HR Officer role forms part of a close-knit and experienced HR function who will provide development and support throughout the assignment. There is a requirement to be on-site each day and in return you will receive free company parking, a fantastic benefits package plus amazing discounts on their product range.DescriptionIn this busy and varied HR Officer position based in Bradford, the successful candidate will be expected to;

  • Provide the HR team with support relating to the management of attendance, including organising sickness absence review meetings and managing a designated caseload
  • Provide the HR team with support relating to the management of all maternity case work including leading on risk assessments, and providing advice and guidance to employees on maternity leave and pay
  • Pro-actively support managers in relation to the effective application of Human Resources policies and procedures
  • Provide an efficient and comprehensive service with regards to recruitment and selection
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies, advertising companies and other external contacts with regards to recruitment
  • Provide administrative support to the central HR Team
  • ProfileWere looking for someone with;
  • Demonstrable HR experience, including exposure to a wide range of complex ER issues
  • Experience of advising line managers on ER issues
  • CIPD qualification would be preferable
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law legislation
  • Experience of coaching, influencing and building strong working relationships with business leaders
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage own workload efficiently
