Job Description

We believe our people should be proud of the work they do making a difference to society and our customers.About the roleYou will act as lead in the development and maintenance of a clear, consistent, compliant and proportionate approach to fire safety management on a strategic and operational level to Anchor Hanover Group. The role will be key to ensuring that Anchor Hanover Group meet both statutory and non-statutory fire safety management duties in relation to fire legislation and associated building regulations.You will provide a professional advisory service embracing all areas of fire safety management including, development of the fire strategy and policy, quality checking fire risk assessments, fire safety inspections/audits, investigating fire safety incidents, measuring performance and KPI’s. Providing regular reports as agreed.About youYou will have extensive knowledge and application of fire safety management within care and social housing environments, including conducting and auditing fire risk assessments. You will have a thorough understanding of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and associated guidance relative to care and housing. Experience of working within strict deadlines and to specified performance measures is a must. You will have excellent knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.You will be a Graduate or Associate of the Institution of Fire Engineers (GIFireE/AIFireE) status or equivalent and/or holds Advanced Diploma in Fire Safety Management.
