Job Description

Customs & Goods In Coordinator Bradford£32,000 - £34,000I am looking for an, who likes a challenge and can communicate effectively in all situations.As the Export & ImportsSpecialist, you will prepare and create all export/import documentation to move available Goods for customers in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will have the support to excel at work, and the resources to build a career youcan be proud of and implement efficiencies if you need too.The role is office based for a manufacturing client based in Bradford.Eager to attract the best, my client offers acompetitive salary and great working hours06.3015.30 Monday to Thursday06.3012.00Christmas Closure.What youll do on a typical day:

  • Preparing freight documentation for new and existing customer base
  • Maintain continuous communication with carriers and customers to ensure a high-quality freight movement process
  • Ensure shipments are imported and exported correctly, with legal documentation to include Airway bills, bills of materials
  • Ensure all parties are informed of route changes, delays, freight concerns, or other issues as necessary
  • Compiling, editing information and data relevant to the commercial and sales functionstariffs, schedule information, trade and market information
  • Undertaking research and other projects as required
  • Assisting in the preparation of commercial updates for internal and external use
  • Track back-end billing and invoicing to ensure that carrier charges are accurate
  • Tariff maintenance and pricing database accuracy
To ensure all imports and exports follow the correct procedure in accordance with the appropriate legal framework of that country.
  • Compliance with HM Customs requirements for reporting and identification of products being shipped/received.
  • Process all necessary customs documentation including EUR1 forms and export licences
  • Liaise with Sales Admin to ensure correct incoterms and commodity codes are being used
  • Book collections from suppliers
  • Tracking proof of deliveries.
  • Investigating and correcting shipping errors.
  • Liaise with Import authority/carrier for clearance of incoming shipments.
  • Ensure all items are shipped/collected promptly after being invoiced
  • To maintain and ensure full availability of all import and export documentation including proof of exports (SAD 88)
  • Licence checks are up to date and legal every 6 months
