Claims Handler Bradford Up to £27,000Are you a Claims Handler looking for a new exciting opportunityWe have an amazing opportunity available working for an ambitious Law Firm in Bradford. They are looking to recruit a pre-litigation claims handler to join a busy team defending EL/PL claims.Ideal opportunity for a law graduate with an interest in Personal Injury or an existing Claims Handler with up to 2 years experience looking for their next position. BENEFITS: - Qualification Sponsorship - 27 holiday days + Bank Holidays + Purchase additional days - 5 % Pension plus extra for length of service - Life Assurance, Private Health - Employee Assistance Programme (Financial difficulties, Mental health, Physical & Emotional issues) - Interest free loans for Rail/ Bus - Discounted Parking & Legal Work AND MANY MORE...SKILLS REQUIRED: - Excellent communication organisation and IT skills are a must- Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn- Must be either a Law Grad or have Claims Handling experience JOB ROLE:- Conduct defence of EL/PL claims for Personal Injury from the beginning of the claim up to but not including litigation - preferably with a retail focus.- Ability to use the MOJ EL/PL Portal.- Deal with opponents, experts, statutory bodies and client by e-mail, telephone and in writing.- Negotiate on issues of liability and quantum.- Pursue recovery of clients losses, where appropriate, from third parties- Maintain accurate financial / reserve / risk management information on all claims- Comply with internal, client and procedural protocols- Ensure that personal objectives are reviewed and met.- Develop a good relationship with existing and potential clients ensuring that a high standard of client care in exercised at all times.- Provide good customer service to litigants in person.- Ensure that relevant training is carried out and keep up to date with relevant legislation and practice.- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with SRA/Law Society Regulations.- Take an active part, with the Department Head and Fee Earners from other departments in marketing initiatives benefiting both their own department and other departments of the Firm.- Carry out duties and responsibilities with due regard to the firms Equality & Diversity Policy.If you are a claims handler or law graduate interested in this role, please apply ASAP!CLD Recruitment (Leeds) Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
