The CAD Technician is a key member of the team; working closely with all Estates divisions, clinical colleagues, and partner stakeholders.The role will contribute to the ongoing improvements across the estate; updating drawings, supporting Capital schemes/projects, and continuing the works for Trust-wide Asset Utilisation.Assisting Estates managers and other stakeholders; ensuring that the Trust’s CAD drawings are available and up-to-date, and as built’ and as installed’ drawings are obtained for all new construction projects.Working closely with compliance stakeholders and MICAD database to provide clear and up-to-date drawings to ensure ongoing compliance with British Standards, HSE Guidanace, as well as HTM/Trust policies and proceduresProvide assistance to department and support Capital Projects; developing design schemes; feasibility studies; on-site inspections; detailing Trust safety standards and procedures.Uses computerised equipment to create spreadsheets/uses CAD system for building plans/responsible for estates information systems.
