Assistant Account Manager

Job Description

My client is a well-established, family run shopfitting company based in Bradford who have been in business over 30 years creating spaces for world famous companies and brands. They have gone from strength to strength since opening their doors and continueto have great success within their line of work. Due to the continued success, they are looking to recruit an Assistant Account Manager on a full time, permanent basis!The main responsibilities:

  • Receiving briefings of tasks and jobs from the Account Managers and providing all administration documentation to support their requirements
  • Updating and monitoring the progress of tasks and jobs, where necessary providing key reporting into the Account Managers and clients
  • Manage the needs of multiple accounts on a daily basis where required
  • Work on and off site aligning with clients needs
  • Conduct customer store visits
  • Be present at site briefs, documenting requirements and following up
  • Control, maintain and respond to relevant emails
  • Assist the Account Managers with the inputting of relevant information into tracker documents
  • Liaise directly with key client contacts when required
  • Produce documents, spreadsheets and control sheets as required
  • Demonstrate proficiency within Word, Excel Work closely with the Account Managers to assist in the administration of client files
  • Ensure required documentation is returned, checked, logged and escalated if appropriate
Experience Required:
  • Excellent administrative and planning skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Interpersonal and communication skills are essential
  • Fully computer literate with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Good team player
  • Ability to work on own initiative and unsupervised
  • Previous experience in manufacturing/production with a good understanding within the bespoke joinery, metalwork, furniture industry
  • Or; Construction, installation, architectural or fit-out knowledge
  • Or; Understanding of any engineering/design processes
