Job Description

We are currently working closely with an all-girls faith school who are recruiting a committed Art teacher. The role is 5 days per week and will commence in September.The school believes in fostering a holistic approach, ensuring that all students grow up to become positive forces within the community. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher looking to work in a school that regularly receives rave reviews from our supply staff. You will be working across the Art department, teaching KS3 and KS4 Art, Fine Art and Applied Art. You would expect to earn up to £185 per day, depending upon your experience.All of our staff are currently working from home to meet the requirements from schools and academies and we are offering a secure online registration process which is REC compliant, enabling us to process all vetting documents quickly to ensure you are available to work as soon as the schools do re-open.Within the role you are required to:

  • Plan and deliver high standards of teaching and learning outcomes
  • Teach up to KS4 Art
  • Offer extra-curricular activities after school to complement the curriculum
  • Take on the role of form tutor
  • What you require:
  • Teaching qualification - QTS, PGCE etc
  • Be confident, passionate and highly motivated
  • Have strong behaviour management skills
  • A willingness to make a significant contribution to the life the school
