Job Description

Page Personnel are representing a non-profit organisation based in Bradford with a global presence. We are recruiting for a varied Accountant role to support the Finance Manager and Finance Director with managing all aspects of accounting across the organisation.This role will be based at their Bradford Head Office and will offer a competitive salary and study support (if required).Client DetailsPage Personnel are representing a charity who support a number of humanitarian aid programmes across the world, helping communities with aid work, including food programmes and emergency disaster response.This Accountant role will be based from their Head Office in Bradford.DescriptionThe role holder will be responsible for:

  • Working within the finance team, managing all financial aspects of the charity;
  • Preparation of financial reports and financial forecasting and monitor expenditure;
  • Manage pension schemes for the organisation;
  • Providing financial expertise, business partnering with relevant stakeholders;
  • Dealing with all queries and compliance issues relating to HMRC;
  • Completion of all relevant Quarterly/Annual Statutory Compliance requirements;
  • Present the financial performance of the organisation to board of trustees/senior management;
  • Prepare budgets for each unit of the organisation;
  • Maintain and update complete database of the finances of organisation;
  • Manage the audit process;
  • Other duties as required.
ProfileCandidates wishing to apply should:
  • Have relevant experience in an accounting role;
  • Have excellent computer literacy;
  • Be working towards a relevant accountancy qualification or be qualified by experience;
  • Have great communication skills.
