2nd/3rd Line Engineer (3rd Line, Infrastructure, o365, VMware , Backup, Server, Exchange, Windows)- Permanent - BradfordSearch IT are currently looking for a 2nd/3rd Line Engineer on a permanent basis for our prestigious client based in Bradford.Salary: £30,000 per annumLocation: BradfordSkills/Requirements for the 2nd/3rd Line Engineer:* Previous experience in a similar role* O365 experience* Strong Active Directory experience * Virtualisation experience using VMware as a preference * Strong backup technology experience* Ability to work with 3rd Parties from a managed service perspective * Extensive Windows Server experience The 2nd/3rd Line Engineer will be responsible for:* Assisting first and second line with the handling of incidents, problems and queries to the support desk as required, providing a professional point of contact for all support issues and enquiries.* Investigating and resolving technical issues escalated from helpdesk support.* Resolution of issues promptly, courteously and professionally to agreed service levels (SLAs), liaising with other service team members and third-party support partners and suppliers, as required.* Training and development of IT team colleagues on technical issues as required.* Contributing to the implementation of the IT operational roadmap and infrastructure refresh programme.* Carring out detailed health-checks on all systems including; updates, Hardware/Software checks.* Providing high level infrastructure support, ensuring that uptime is within business needs.The above is a shrunk down list of the full duties.
