You will be using pre-planned materials to ensure that the students do no miss out on their learning. You are there to make sure thatthey have continuity in their education, to report safeguarding concerns, to manage the classroom and any challenging behaviours throughout the lessons. There is no requirement for you to be an expert on the subject you are teaching, as there is no expectationthat you will be completing any planning or preparation work. Obviously knowing a subject is a bonus, but is not essential!If you are a UK or overseas qualified teacher looking for subject specific cover work, then the Reed team can work with you to find you a long-term post teaching the subject that you know the best.
