Job Description

Senior Cyber Security ConsultantBracknellAre you a well skilled and professionally driven Senior Cyber Security Consultant with experience working in the Defence Industry or public sector Do you want to work with likeminded SMEs in your industry on innovative projects that have a direct impact on the national security of the United Kingdom. If youve replied yes! to any of these questions, I have the role youre looking for!My client is looking for a Cyber Security Consultant to join a team of industry experts, to work in tandem with their digital consultancy and architecture team to deliver bespoke and classified projects to their central governmental end client . They are looking for individuals that have solid academic, technical and business experience demonstrating best practice and stakeholder management to achieve this.Due to the nature of these projects, current and Valid UK (Home Office) SC Security Clearance is required for this role. Your application can not and will not be considered without these levels of Governmental Security Clearance.ExperienceEssential:

  • Cyber Security & Information Assurance Risk Management, being fully proficient in performing Business Impact Analysis and Risk Assessments
  • Production of Risk Management Accreditation Document sets (RMADS)
  • Performing Security Risk Assessments, in particular knowledge of HMG IS1&2, NIST SP800-37 and CIS RAM
  • Security Architectures
  • Proven record of developing and maintaining security policies, processes and procedures
  • Knowledge of Security Policies and Guidance eg ISO, NCSC, MoD Security Standards and Policies
  • Ideally achieved the Cyber Security Professional (CCP) certification, CISM, CRISC or CISSP
  • Understand and assess new and evolving technologies for use in the HMG context
  • Customer facing with the ability to confidently and authoritatively speak to the customer about security accreditation, risk and assurance.
  • Experience of IT Health Checks (CHECK), providing scope of works, analysis of ITHC reports and remediation plans.
  • Knowledge and experience of the SOA lifecycle and specifically assurance and security governance.
  • Recognised as a subject matter expert expert within their field.
  • Experience reporting directly to the Chief Security Officer
  • Proven track record working with authority and external vendor.
  • Demonstrable experience successfully defining, implementing and conformance to security processes both internally and externally.
  • Contribution to security working groups.
  • NCSC Cyber Certified Professional Lead Security Information Risk Advisor or (ISC)2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional
