Job Description

The role is primarily responsible for supporting the Sales Support Manager in providing an efficient and effective Sales Support service to dealers and the wider Car Sales area teams. The role holder will be a strong team player who thrives on providing exceptional customer service and is confident working in a reactive, fast-paced sales environment. They should be a resilient individual, who enjoys building relationships and always takes pride in completing tasks to a high standard.Main Responsibilities:

  • To work closely with the Sales Support Section Manager to identify how Sales Support can enhance its service provision to support our sales operational team efficiency and minimise customer inconvenience.
  • Ensure effective communication with both the field team and dealer network.
  • Management of bulletins and publishing any documents needed on the Car Sales.
  • Managing change sections of the extranet within a defined SLA.
  • Support the Supply & Logistics team with supply desk coverage during peak periods.
  • Supporting the dealer Business Objective rollout.
  • Supporting the administration needs of our office-based management team and support for field-based associates. (ordering stationary, dealer communications, booking travel and meetings if requested).
  • Supporting the procurement process and handling purchase orders and cost centre administration.
  • Understanding the key processes in the department and action when necessary.
  • Cover for holiday absence and cover the main Sales Support processes, such as making dealer payments, assisting with the Car business terms queries, Allocation process, Accruals, & OLEV (Office for Low Emissions Vehicles).
  • Taking the time to understand the new car sales forecasting reporting requirements so they can be covered when required.
  • Maintaining and understanding the payment systems that sit within the department, MCDS & FCD
  • Creating RFO contracts on the FCD system for retail RFO requests.
  • Understand all related items to do with the 2021 Car Business Terms payments.
  • Qualification, skills, and experience required:
  • Great communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Able to multitask and work with speed and efficiency.
  • Capable of working under pressure.
  • Proven ability to work well in a team.
