THIS ROLE IS TEMP TO PERMTo manage production staff within the department using effective feedback and communication of company goals while assessing work performance and identifying areas for improvement and training opportunities. Communicating business goals, project deadlines and staff performance within the management team. Using industry and company knowledge to manufacture and send every finished product in line with or exceeding company quality standards.Team ManagementDirect responsibility for all production operatives working in the department and report to the Production and Planning Manager.Supervising team members in duties and performance, provide feedback where necessary.Motivate, guide, and mentor team members to exceed goals and create a positive working environment.Adhere to deadline by communicating expectations to team members, setting goals and motivating staff members.Work with the staff members to ensure full conformity with the company health and safety guidelines and all incidents swiftly reported to management.Using the company staff management tool to keep a record of staff holidays, sickness, training etc.Ensure all staff are effectively trained on each machine and reporting tools through the use of training manuals.Product QualityOversee work quality and verify product quality of everything leaving the department making sure that everything is in line with company and customer standards.All production rejects to be logged and monitored within the system reporting weekly to management on processes put in place to actively reduce defects.Maintain strong working knowledge of company products and services, and offer technical support and information to team membersProduction OutputTo monitor daily the output by department and create a system for the critical production elements detailing output, rejection rate, down time to give an overall efficiency rate which is fed back to the production team and managementResponsible for ensuring that all shop and customer orders are correctly inputted by production in the system.This role is temp to perm Required skills
