The individual must have a detailed understanding of both organisations at an intellectual and capability level, be proficient at engaging across their respective hierarchies and be comfortable shaping which capabilities are procured as they continue on their digital transformation journeys. Reporting to the MOD Business Development Head, the successful candidate will own the business development and relationship management for the future growth of the Army account and part of Strategic Command. They will have the versatility and credibility to influence at 2 and 3-star levels, whilst ensuring that our customer is seen as the partner of choice by the procurement teams and decision makers at 1-star and below.In addition, they will be responsible for creating and maintaining a strategic road map for both organisations, for shaping innovative offerings to meet customer need and proactively develop a sales pipeline via robust opportunity qualification. The next 36 months represents a uniquely exciting time with realisation of the Digital Backbone, 5 Domain Integration, and Land programmes such LE TacCIS, LE ISTAR & LE CYBER.Deep understanding of the UK Defence competitor landscape will be needed to underpin accurate selection of partners to improve the probability of winning business. To achieve this, the successful candidate will be required to influence the development of new offerings focused on the highest priority needs of Army and Strategic Command customers.Your experience
