Job Description

This is a Permanent position for a Hospitality Events Manager to join a growing catering business based in Berkshire.This role will involve a variety of tasks including handling the administration for the events from home, attending the events to ensure they run smoothly and overseeing stock deliveries for future events at the warehouse.Client DetailsThis company own a number of mobile catering outlets and attend some of the largest events in the UK including Glastonbury Festival, Latitude Festival, Rewind Festival, Formula 1 and many more!They are rapidly growing, have a great team culture are looking for driven and hardworking individuals to join their business.DescriptionThe successful candidate for the Hospitality Events Manager based in Berkshire will have the following responsibilities:Attending events:

  • Operating our high tech outlets, serving customers, making drinks
  • Overall Team, shift and outlet management
  • On-site additional stock ordering
  • Be a point of Contact for Event organisers
  • Driving a small van to/from events
  • Trouble shooting any technical issues
  • Setting up/closing down outlets
At home administration tasks:
  • Applying for new /repeat Events
  • Organising our Events Calendar
  • Account Manager for events: Completing and sending relevant documents
  • Planning logistics/arrival times on site
  • Arranging outlet transport with suppliers
  • Planning staffing for events
  • Keeping the rota system up to date for monthly payroll
At Bracknell Warehouse:
  • Receiving stock deliveries
  • Ordering stock from suppliers
  • Checking in deliveries
  • Loading/unloading vehicles
  • Meeting with maintenance people for any work on the mobile outlets
ProfileThe successful candidate for the Hospitality Events Manager will need to have the following skills and experience:
  • Experience of working within a customer facing role
  • Have strong leadership skills
  • Have strong organisational skills
  • Be able to drive
  • Be flexible with working hours as this will change at different times of the year
Job OfferThis is a Permanent position with great opportunity for progression as the company continues to grow.The successful candidate will need to be able to work over weekends, particularly throughout the summer as this is when most of the events take place.As many events are in remote locations candidates will need to be happy with camping over whilst away at events.
