Job Description

This position seeks a dedicated Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations within the industrial / manufacturing company. The role is based in Bracknell and requires a strategic thinker capable of leading an accounting and finance team.Client DetailsOur client is a well-established entity within the industrial / manufacturing industry, the company has a significant presence across multiple global markets and boast a global turnover of over £750 million. The hiring manager has recently received a promotion and is seeking a Finance Manager / Senior Management Accountant to join their team.Description

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting & finance department.
  • Management the monthly management accounts process.
  • Monitor and analyse accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits.
  • Provide recommendations to improve systems and financial performance.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Coordinate with management on work issues.
  • Provide financial advice to the management team.
  • Support the finance team of 5.
ProfileA successful Finance Manager should have:
  • A strong educational background in finance, accounting or a related field (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
  • Proven experience as a strong accountant that wants to progress to a management role.
  • Proficient user of SAP / Dynamics 365.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
