Job Description

Customer Service Manager - Horticultural SpecialistBracknel/ up to £35kAre you a passionate, people focused Customer Services Manager or operator with a specialism in Gardening / Horticulture based in the Bracknell area who is looking to join a great companyA household name. A vast range of products. Our client is an industry leading, multi-product garden retailer who is looking for a passionate, vibrant people person to join their team.What does the role of Customer Services Manager involve

  • To review and compile horticulturally accurate and appropriate responses to customer queries and contacts regarding the plants range.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and ensure that our customer is at the heart of everything we do.
  • Respond to customer queries regarding all aspects of gardening and plants.
  • Where plants do not meet customer expectations, assess from the information provided, the health of the plants, and advise the customer services team if the plants purchased need to be replaced or refunded.
  • Provide cultural growing advice to customers where required to improve their growing conditions and help them achieve growing success with the plants they have purchased
  • Work closely with the Customer services team, liaising with them to provide responses that they can convey to the customer within agreed timelines.
    • What skills do you need for the role
  • Horticultural Qualification (Level 3-Level 5 or equivalent)
  • Strong plant knowledge and understanding of plant quality
  • Able to communicate in a polite but friendly, professional and calm manner
  • Computer Literate (Excel & Word)
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to work to time pressures effectively in a fast moving and rapidly changing market
  • Good interpersonal skills - A team player
