Job Description

You will like Supporting instrument solutions team at HQ for a leading supplier of specialist test and measurement instruments plus UK independent laboratory for testing, validation and performance of HVAC products and systems. This organisation are renowned as the benchmarkin quality and offer standard testing to BS, EN and ISO for CE approval and compliance with local, national and global markets and are also an employer of choice.You will likeThe Calibration Administrator job itself where you will provide support to the effective discharge of calibration activities in the Instrument Solutions business.More specifically:Processing of calibration goods and contracts from receipt through to delivery using bespoke software systems, along with all subsequent documentation including invoices, queries, credits and any complaints on goods or services provided by the business. Organise couriers for the same day and next day deliveries including the preparation and checking of shipping documents.Processing of goods sent for repair or calibration with third-party laboratories.Liaising with customers and the Instrument SolutionsTeam regarding the processing of jobs to ensure deadlines are met.In conjunction with the Laboratory Manager and the Senior Calibration Administrator assist in organising the laboratory staff workloads.Responding to pricing enquiries, by telephone e-mailand fax, plus the issuing of quotations as required.Organisation and maintenance of calibration department archives.Provide support to the hire or sales administration teams during any periods of staff absence.Ensure continued conformity with therequirements contained in ISO 9001 (BSI) and ISO 17025 (UKAS) through the procedures defined within Quality Manual.Operate in compliance with corporate policies.Working in a team promoting equality, diversity and inclusion.Management of personal developmentthrough Company training courses.This roles working pattern is 37 hours per week, MonThursday 8.30am-5pm and on Friday 8.30am-4.30pm This is an office based role in Bracknell (walking distance from Bracknell station).You will have To be successful as Calibration Administrator you will have a healthy mix of the following:PC literate with a working knowledge of proprietary Microsoft software packages such as WordGood written and verbal communicationsExcellent customer service skills as role will require time working at the trade counterGood attention to detailsand commitment to achieving a high level of customer serviceEnthusiasm and willingness to play an active part in a small team in both an office and laboratory environmentGood Standard of Education (at least 3 GCSE AC, including Maths and English)You will get As Calibration Administrator you will enjoy a salary of £21.5K+ PackageBenefits: Pension Scheme, Life Assurance4 times annual gross reference salary (after confirmation), 26 Annual Holidays (pro-rata) and additional 8 Bank Holidays etc.You can apply To Calibration Administrator bypushing the button on this job posting (recommended), or by sending CV in confidence toUK_MS
